MADRID, SPAIN // Juan has a Graphic Design Degree by IED and studied his third year in Rome after being awarded a scholarship due to his academic results.

Juan hates writing in third person but knows that sometimes you have to do things you don’t necessarily enjoy.

He started as a designer in Lowe Lintas Madrid. Two years later he got a contract at Contrapunto where he remained for four years until he joined JWT Madrid as Creative Director. His team helped turn around the agency earning great recognition for international clients such as Corona Beer.

In October 2011 he joined Leo Burnett as CCO.

Juan has worked for accounts such as Jeep, Mercedes, Digital Plus, National Lottery, among others and has managed clients at an international level such as Corona, Axa, and Unilever.

Some of his most famous works include the world famous “Corona garbage hotel” and the multi awarded 2014 Spanish Christmas lottery campaign.

Juan’s work has been honoured at barely every award show in the world including Cannes Lions, The One Show, D&AD, ADC, El Sol, El Ojo, FIAP, Clio, The New York festival, CdeC…etc. Among these recognitions he has won two Grand Prix at El Sol and two “Best of Show Awards” at CdeC and Echo awards.
