LOS ANGELES, USA // Christopher Donovan serves as SVP, Creative Marketing at E! where he oversees creative development and execution of the network’s advertising, emerging media, and content.

Since assuming this role, Donovan has been responsible for the overall creative strategic direction and campaign work for all of E!’s unscripted series, news and live events ranging from "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," to E! News, New York Fashion Week and "Live from The Red Carpet." He also oversaw the successful launch of the network’s first two scripted series, ‘The Royals” and “The Arrangement.”

Prior to E! Donovan served as the SVP creative on-air and online promotions department for The CW Television Network where he was instrumental in the initial launch of The CW. While at The CW he led successful, innovative multi-platform campaigns for series such as “Arrow,” “Gossip Girl,” “America’s Next Top Model” and “The Vampire Diaries.”

Donovan joined The CW in March 2006 from The WB Network, where he directed the on-air campaigns for “Gilmore Girls,” “Smallville,” “and “Supernatural.” Prior to The WB, Donovan served as creative director for Fox Sports and Fox Sports Net, working with such preeminent sports franchises as The NFL, MLB and NASCAR.

Donovan’s extensive advertising background includes his creative and production experience for many of the industry’s leading agencies such as BBDO, JWT and Grey Group working on campaigns for such clients as Pepsi, Nike, Frito-Lay, P&G, Apple and HBO.

Throughout his career, Donovan’s creative efforts have earned numerous nominations and awards, including Clio, Cannes, New York Film Festival, London International Advertising, Telly, PromaxBDA Awards. Chris has always been grateful to be a member of world class creative teams.

He attended Bates College, Lewiston, ME and Columbia University in New York, New York. Donovan is a member of the Television Academy and the PromaxBDA Awards committee. He currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two sons.
